Blossom Corner

In Blossom Corner the flowers are starting to bloom, Spring is truly in the air.  This weekend we journeyed to the farmers markets where a little princess just couldn't help but buy some beautiful flowers, she was also given  two beautiful plants from the farmers as she loved the flowers so much.

They delighted in seeing the joy she had  from the flowers and talk about gardening as it is not such a common thing for children in today's society unfortunately.

My princess loves gardening, surrounded by nature and in Blossom Corner she has delighted in the bees which are busily humming in our purple tree.

Now that the lavender we planted for the bees has started to flower the little bees stop to collect the sweet nectar.

The early spring butterflies are flittering and fluttering around and the buds on the trees are just waiting to explode into the beautiful warm spring air.

The birthday roses are growing well, new leaves are unfolding and the hover-fly has returned. We have put some lovely spring  flowers in the room with a candle, a perfect start for our spring table.

The weather has been delightful and we enjoyed a wonderful day with family delighting in spending time outdoors, playing, talking, eating delicious delights and just being.....

How beautiful that your little girl loves flowers and gardening... yes, it is unusual to see one so young take such a keen interest.

She is very blessed to have a Mum like you, fostering her interests and helping her to 'bloom'.

Thank you Amanda for your wonderful words of encouragement.

this looks delightful. Funny to think that across the globe the opposite is happening as trees get ready to lose their leaves in preparation for Autumn :)
